Who we are
Griffith University Muslim Student Association
To foster a supportive and inclusive environment that enriches the spiritual, social, and academic lives of Muslim students. We strive to promote understanding, unity, and community engagement through educational, cultural, and social events, while upholding the values of respect, compassion, and diversity.
To create a welcoming space for all students to explore their faith, build connections, and positively contribute to the wider Griffith University community. GUMSA aims to serve as a vital support system for Muslim students by addressing our unique needs and enhancing our university experience. Our goal is to facilitate the religious, social, and educational/academic needs of Muslim students, both local and international, as well as staff and the wider community. We strive to create an inclusive environment where students can engage in meaningful dialogue, deepen their understanding of Islamic values, and form a community across campuses. Through various events, GUMSA fosters connections among members and promotes unity, understanding, and respect within the broader Griffith University community.
