The Islamic Society of Deakin University aims to provide the Muslim community of Deakin with the means to fulfil their social and religious needs. We also provide the general awareness of the Islamic faith to the public, as well as year-round events open to all. Our Islamic lectures, halaqas, Ramadan Iftars and Eid festivities are not to be missed!

Islamic Society Of Deakin University

ISDU is a society which is committed to providing Muslim students a placeto pray and socialize on campus. We are also an advocacy group who would act on behalf of Muslim students on campus and push various initiatives.

Our Mission

To be a safe place of belonging for Muslim students and provide support through the difficulties of university life, while strengthening the ties of sisterhood and brotherhood.

To support Islamic identity through unity, diversity, spirituality, and Islamic Knowledge at Deakin University.
